Tankless Water Heater

This tankless water heater unit qualified for a $700 rebate from Mass Save and is over 90% efficient! The client was very happy with the savings and installation!

Tank-Type Atmospheric Water Heater

This is the most common type of water heater. This client wanted to get the most out of their 40-gallon water heater, so a mixing valve was installed, which increases usable hot water by almost 50%! The temperature gauge allows for easy setting of the temperature for safety and comfort. As you can see, it exhausts into the chimney.

Electric Tank-Type Water Heaters

This specific unit has a mixing valve AND leak detection system installed on it to shut off the cold water feed in the event of a leak! Although there is a premium to install these items, it increases usable hot water and can help avoid a flood.

Power Vent Tank-Type Water Heater

As you can see, the vent is done in PVC and goes through the side of the home to exhaust fumes and CO to the outside. This project began as a service call for no hot water. Once we arrived on site, we found that the exhaust for the existing units was done in such a way that the fumes and carbon monoxide (CO) was being trapped, forcing the exhaust to pour back into this basement. There were no CO detectors nearby and, though dangerous, fortunately no one was ever hurt. Once we notified the owners, they had us address the venting on the outside and replace all three units.

Indirect Tank-Type Water Heater

As you can see, the boiler on the left provides heating hot water to a coil in the tank to heat up the domestic hot water. The client was very happy with his Mass Save rebates as well as the lifetime factory warranty the indirect water heater came with!

High-Efficiency Combination Boiler & Water Heater

The unit below heats up the baseboard for a 1,000 square foot condominium and also feeds tempered hot water to a full bath and kitchen. This project qualified for a Mass Save rebate of $2,000!
